  Welcome back! It’s been a few days since my last update and I’m glad to announce that we’ve moved on to concocting pitches for our upcoming short film. Part of the reason why this blog took a while to get out was because my team and I spent quite a bit of time deliberating back and forth about what we wanted our film to be about (having a hurricane narrowly miss us also factored in, but we all thankfully fared well). As you will see below, we took three major factors into consideration: casting, location, and budgeting. We also ensured to take the time to consider probable storylines before settling on the following three pitches because we felt that they demonstrated the most potential for developing into meaningful plotlines.  Pitch A:  An amnesiac’s life is about to take a turn for the worst.     Despite this idea having been put forth towards the end of our musings, it was well-received enough to become one of our top three pitches. Although I enjoyed my time last year with my groupmate, Sophia, with whom I did all of my AS-Level projects, I am excited to move on this year. Since she is no longer taking AICE Media Studies, I have had to find a new group. The group that I found consists of my friend, Ashley S, who I worked with on my music video in AS-Level, and my friend Jordyn M, who I have yet to work with on a media project. I believe that this group will work very well together as all of the members are already good friends. I have known Ashley for almost all of my life and did Girl Scouts with her when I was very young. I have always been close to her and would love the opportunity to work with her again. I met Jordyn at the beginning of last year and instantly became friends with her. She has a very welcoming personality that makes it easy to be around her and is also a very hard worker.    Hi everyone, welcome to my first blog for AICE Media A-Level! It is so great to see you again! To officially start off my A-Level project, I would like to re-introduce myself to all new possible readers My name is Aja. I am sixteen years old and I am a junior in high school. I am of Middle Eastern and Jewish descent. My father is originally from Jordan, with Jewish heritage from his mother. My mother is from the United States, but of German descent. I was born and raised in Florida. I enjoy listening to music, cooking/baking, and making art. I also enjoy running and playing soccer. On the weekends, I work at a local small sushi restaurant. This is very fitting for me since my favorite food is sushi, specifically vegetables-based since I do not eat fish. I have been working there for over a year and am very happy when I am there, as my co-workers and I are very close. I have two cats at home named Toby and Calypso. They are four years old now. When at school, I am a very high achiev
