The Newest Addition to the Group

Hello, again! As you may remember, for my previous project, the Commercial Project, my group consisted of myself and my classmate Sophia. I am very excited to announce our new project, the Music Video! For this project, we are filming a 1 minute and 15-second video for a song of our choice. I have decided to work with my old partner Sophia again because we worked so well together the first time, and we also agreed that we should have another person in our group this time. This person is our friend Ashley. Ashley is a hard worker and I have seen enough of her past work to know that she is a talented filmmaker. Specifically, when it comes to the editing process. We all bring new unique perspectives and characteristics to this project, which is why I believe it is better to work with a larger group. Sophia is very artistically gifted and loves to draw. She can help the most in creating a clear storyboard vision of our video ideas. She is also great as an actress for the video. I believe I am skilled artistically as well, but more mentally than physically. I am best at creating a vision in mind for the video as well as choosing music and effects. Ashley is very technologically gifted and is best at the editing process, as mentioned earlier. She will help us most in this process by compiling our raw film and transforming it into a music video.  While looking for a song, we had some difficulty. Ashley compiled a very specific list of songs, which all were very good, but we thought about which one would work best for a video, and it was not any on the list. We spent quite a while browsing songs on YouTube from various artists such as Harry Styles, Lisa, DNCE, and Doja Cat and settled finally on two songs, Cheap Thrills by Sia and Sean Paul and Cake by the Ocean by DNCE. We all mutually decided on Cheap thrills because we could see a vision immediately after listening.
